Speaker Series: What Colonial Women Wore

With Kimberly Praria & Nicole Frederick

Join us at Prallsville Mills for the next installment of our Speaker Series at the Mills. Kimberly Praria, Mills Director and Historian, will be joined by Nicole Frederick, Historic Costume Collector and Historian, for a fun and engaging show-and-tell exploring what women wore during the American War for Independence. Together they’ll walk through a selection of reproduction and original garments, examining the typical styles and materials of the period.

The talk takes place Saturday, May 9th at 2pm at Prallsville Mills, Route 29 / Risler Street in Stockton.

Suggested donation is $10 per person, with proceeds supporting our mission to preserve the Mills, interpret its history, and foster its use for cultural, educational, recreational, and community activities.
