The Prallsville Mills, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, offers a variety of cultural and community activities in a magnificent setting along the Delaware River and D&R Canal in Stockton, N.J. It’s a multiple structure site that represents the early 19th- to early 20th-century industrial era, yet many of its buildings date back to the late 1700s. The 10-building complex includes a grist mill, linseed oil mill, saw mill and granary. In recent years, the Prallsville Mills complex has become not only a hub of cultural and environmental events, such as concerts, art exhibits, antique shows, holiday parties, auctions, and meetings but also a popular venue for weddings and other celebrations. These private events are an important source of income for the restoration and maintenance of the site.
