About Bakersfield:
Formed in late 2022, Bakersfield comprises six seasoned Philadelphia-area musicians who share a deep passion for rockabilly, honky-tonk, and country rock traditions. Their repertoire features classics from legends like Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, and the Flying Burrito Brothers, as well as influences from the Austin, Texas scene, including artists such as Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. The band is committed to capturing the authentic feel and sound of the era, delivering strong lead and harmony vocals that resonate with audiences.
